__Merchant__, a merchant is a business person who trades in commodities produced by other people in order to earn a profit. The status of the merchant has varied during different periods of history and among different societies. Merchants have often been the subject of works of art.

__Welcome to the Merchant category__. Please use this category for your research projects pertaining to "merchants" or otherwise "retailers". For example you may want to create a page about a retailer and how that retailer was established, when they opened their doors, sales volume, history of, and much more.

Name all files and images appropriately before uploading to our server. Image and files that contain arbitrary titles or naming conventions will be removed from this wiki.
