!Introduction
 __History__ (from Greek ἱστορία, historia, meaning “inquiry, knowledge acquired by investigation”) is the study of the past, particularly how it relates to humans. It is an umbrella term that relates to past events as well as the memory, discovery, collection, organization, presentation, and interpretation of information about these events. Scholars who write about history are called historians. Events occurring prior to written record are considered prehistory.

Please use this category for your research projects pertaining to historical events and time lines in the arts and crafts and ((Trade|trades)) industry belonging to ((Woodworking|woodworking)). The historical research projects related to woodworking could include research about the origins of implements, a particular sect of society that used such implements, or a time line or event that influenced the growth (or the decline) of the arts and crafts and woodworking trades industry. Name all files and images appropriately before uploading to our server. Image and files that contain arbitrary titles or naming conventions will be removed from this wiki.
